Ikar 1/72 Tupolev ANT-25 completed

Finally finished.
The Plane depicted here is the one that flew from Moscow to San Jacinto, California (N205-1) and not the most commonly represented in model form that portrays (with its blue nose) the one that flew from Moscow to Vancouver, Washington (N205) a few months earlier.
Not, by any means, an easy one -as exhaustively described in the mentioned previous postings-, but the final product is indeed appealing.

  1. Nice! The real aircraft is at the Valery Chkalov Museum at Chkalovsk near Nizhny Novgorod. Worth a visit is you happen to be passing.
