I can almost hear the sighs of relief...a
"conventional" plane!
After a series of planes which explored unconventional
design ideas (Bleriot III "continuous" wings, Bleriot V Canard,
Bleriot VI tandem, etc) Louis Bleriot selected an arrangement that will set the
rule for times to come.
The Bleriot VII (1907) was simple plane which, as the other
models, suffered several transformations that increased the experience and
capabilities of its manufacturer/pilot.
The basically similar Bleriot XI will accomplish very soon
the famous Channel crossing.

A simple model to scratch following the techniques
previously described in precedent articles, the major challenge will reside
this time in the landing gear which after all is not that difficult.
I took some liberties with the cockpit interior furnishing
it with spurious detail.
Another little bug for the "pioneers" airstrip,
simple, but with the charm of a bygone era.
