Stout Skycar - 1/72nd Avis

 

If Humpty-Dumpty had a plane...

Another delightful civil subject from Avis, with their usual treatment. It requires some cleaning, one or two touches, and it will build into a nice cute little model.

The unusual yet elegant lines will provide some variety to any model showcase, and hopefully spark some curiosity and interest for the less explored lands of the vast aviation realm.

Most photos I have (not many, though) of the Skycar show it on a dirt/grass runway, thus the model was  photographed both on tarmac and grass.

Stout, the designer, is well known for his association with the Ford trimotor and other airplanes, and most notably cars, many of them unconventional and thought-provoking.
