Miles M.2H - Kovozávody Prostějov 1/72nd injected plastic

Firstly, kudos for Kovozávody Prostějov for regaling us with yet another civil kit of a very nice plane.

Here is the second model of the Miles Hawk Major, this time the M.2H by K P that was released a few years after the Plastic Passion kit that was built in parallel wit this one. I guess the general idea was to provide modelers that shun resin with a injected plastic option. In their enthusiasm KP provided (in another boxing) decals for the same plane released by Plastic Passion (a MacRobedtson race participant), problem is that for that plane the kit is not the right variant, so don't use those particular decals if you have that boxing of this KP kit. I have a very shallow knowledge of this type, but the KP kit looks just a teeny weenie off in a couple of regards, having a strange wing airfoil, a squatty stance and a perhaps not robust enough fuselage. Still, for modelers that for one reason or another don't favor resin kits, this is the chance to have a colorful Miles Hawk Major, a plane that, if other decals are created for it, has many schemes available, which is always nice.

To have a look at the building process (that I recommend if you have the kit) please visit:

To see the Plastic Passion Miles M.2F built in parallel you may go to:

So you have now two options, depending on your preferred medium and pocket, to build this iconic British light plane, so beautiful in its simplicity.
