The plane represented here is a post-WWI civil advertisement machine, in the colors of The Red Goose Shoes Co. There were many post-war civil users of decommissioned planes, as the machines passed to the second-hand market, and many of these planes were also very attractive, with striking schemes, and used for dare-deviling, barnstorming, air shows and the like.
Arctic Decals made the high quality set used on the model.
