The Khee-Kha kit-based WB-2 record plane is completed now.
(The step-by-step building article is posted here:

I built this one for a fellow enthusiast and I think it is not bad at all :-)
It was a somewhat long build, but nevertheless enjoyable.
Khee-Kha kits are nice and lend themselves to adaptations and conversions, therefore you can produce a wide range of models, many of high historic significance as it is this one.

This is a beautiful model. What scale is it?
ReplyDeleteI built a 1/8 scale flying version that I haven't flown. It won the first prize at the local fair.
Congratulations, Ken.
DeleteAll models are in 1/72 scale.
I don't have nor use facebook, sort of an ideological stand.
Best regards
Beautiful! in your diligence for this build, did you come across any pictures of the interior or instrument cluster? Curious for a project I'm working on.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I wasn't able to find a photo of the inst. pan., I made a generic one. There are plenty of photos of other similar Bellancas, which can't be too different.
