Airframe 1/72 vacuum-formed Heston-Napier British speed record attempt 1940

Although it is not one from his stable of remarkable vacuum-formed kits, this one was nevertheless made with the technique he pioneered in the scale model universe. Besides, it seems that he has a particular fondness for this winged British keg design.
Be this build then an homage to Gordon Stevens, with affection and respect, from one of the many fellow modelers that enjoyed the product of his lovely work.

    Excellent build, congratulations! The shape of this kit is much better than others (e.g. Dujin resin), particularly the spine, and canopy you have made. However, the bulges over the four front corners of the sabre are missing.

      The "bumps" are actually there (see for example the 7th photo counting from the top -click on it to see it larger-), although very subtle.
