For some background, a few articles and some notes please go to the step-by-step building post:

What are the odds that an obscure plane will receive the attention of two manufacturers more or less at the same time? In this case the Piaggio-Pegna PC-7 was released by AMP of Ukraine and SBS from Hungary in different media. They are destined to two different segments of the hobby population: those who are familiar and comfortable with the more common injected plastic kit and/or with perhaps a tighter budget, and those that have experience with resin kits and don't mind a few extra $ for a bit more refinement and kit luxury. Both have their place, and both are valid hobby options.
In this case the AMP kit only needed a few touches here and
there in order to be built into a nice little model with relative speed and in
a relaxed mood. I only added the home-made trestles to be able to pose it correctly.
I am so glad that this very beautiful plane has been chosen by AMP. I also have their Supermarine S.5 (hopefully soon to follow on the building board), their Sikorsky S.51 and their Avia VR-1 (I only wish they would release their Bendix Model J helo in 1/72nd too!). Congratulations to AMP are in order, and the best wishes for them and the Ukrainian people, hopefully soon to be liberated from the ass on the horse.
