Vauxhaul D-type - Conversion of Roden 1/72nd kit to civil use

 This is one of the many vehicles I build to use as photographic props to enhance the presentation of the planes and provide an idea of scale. 

The conversion was easy, just adding spoke P.E. parts to the reamed kit's solid wheels, substituting for more effective home-made lenses the kit's clear parts for the four lights, and changing the colors.

This is a well-detailed kit with a lot of smallish parts, a good depiction no doubt, but with it's challenges too.
