This little trucks will be used as props for airplane model photography. Forced perspective will offset the scale difference.

When I see this kits I tend to buy them as there is not much around in term of vehicles and props in general to complement the airplane models. I got these for a fair price in a nice little hobby store in Kauai, but ACE offers this same model in 1/72nd scale (all military versions, of course, heaven forfend they release a civil one) so truck but no decals for tankers in them.
The build is relatively simple, although these dated models are a notch below Highway Miniatures products and several notches below contemporary offerings. Yet their simplicity and price are in a way its assets if their purpose is just as props as in my case.
