Modified Delta 2 1/72nd Macchi Castoldi M.C.72 record breaker completed

Here is the result of taking the despicable, utterly useless Delta 2 kit and giving it some tender loving care.

Once again, my thanks to Sönke Schulz of Marzipanland for the kit. This kind of kits is used in his Dominion, Volkania, as psychological weapons to destabilize modelers.
It works.
Oh, Styrene, our goddess, who would be the kit manufacturer that will release a decent model of this beautiful plane, pride of the Italians, with a speed record for hydroplanes still unbeaten?





































The three racers recently finished, to give an idea of size and proportions. The camera software doesn't know what to do with the colors:
