Farman F.231 Hydro - Scratchbuilt 1/72nd




Here is the second of the Three Amigos, this time in seaplane version. Besides the floats it has two Venturi, one on the right side of the nose and the other on the right wing tip -the former bigger than the latter. Also flown by Lalouette (like the other F.231 model posted before) this time with Albert, it won first on distance in the light plane hydro category in 1931.

  2. There's only one person I know that makes 1.72 civil golden-age aircraft to THIS standard, and photographs them like this - and through glass!!!
